It looks as though an all-female “Ghostbusters” is about to happen.
Paul Feig, creator of Freaks and Geeks and director of Bridesmaids, is teaming up with writer Katie Dippold (The Heat, Parks and Recreation) to put together a new “Ghostbusters” movie featuring “hilarious women” this time around.
There have been talks of bringing back the movie franchise for a while, but after several years of development, the death of Harold Ramis, and the original director Ivan Reitman leaving the project this past March, much was left up in the air.
With Feig and Dippold now on board with a TBD all female Ghostbusting team, it looks as though the next “Ghostbusters” is a go, and will undoubtedly be hysterical.
